Welcome to the new Panic Years website! As the year comes to an end, we find ourselves grateful for a productive 2011, with highlights including a mini-tour down to SXSW and playing in front of thousands of people at Radio 104.5‘s Summer Block Party (with the Airborne Toxic Event and the Naked & Famous). We’re optimistic about the year ahead, especially because we recently finished recording our debut full-length album, which will be out at some point in 2012. If you click here, you can watch video of us performing, “Anomie” (from our new album), live on the radio. Other things you can look forward to in 2012? Panic Years’ return to SXSW, lots and lots (and lots) of tour dates, more keyboards/synths (and tambourines) at our shows, and an album release party that will rock your face off. In the meantime, here are some cool photos from this past year. We promise to take better/more photos in 2012.
- We found a hitchhiker on the way to SXSW.
- We played in front of a lot of people this Summer.
- A LOT of people. (Courtesy of Radio 104.5)
- We recorded in Ed’s basement…
- …we recorded late into the night, every night.
- We went to Gradwell House in NJ to record drums so the neighbors wouldn’t get mad.
- We explored new sounds too.
- Birthday shows are the best.
- We also played lots of other fun shows. (Courtesy of GMSPhotography)
