Thanks to everyone who came out to Kung Fu Necktie last Sunday – we had a great time playing for y’all. Be sure to check out the December issue of Alternative Press (AP) because Panic Years is featured in the AP&R section! If you want to view the piece online, you can do so HERE.

Y-Not Radio’s Early Christmas Present

ImageY-Not Radio will be hosting an early Christmas show on December 9 at Kung Fu Necktie in Philly, and we’re really excited to play on the bill! We’re also excited to be playing with Eytan & the Embassy (Brooklyn, NY) again. If you’re unfamiliar with Y-Not, you can check them out here. While you’re checking out their sweet tunes, you can also download a FREE ticket into the show! Just click on the link on the right side of the home page. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Happy Hanukkah!

We’re back home!

We’re back in Philly after a very successful 3-week national tour! We had an amazing time and it was so great making new friends and fans on the road. Not sure if we’ve caught up on our sleep quite yet, but we’re getting there. Thank you so much if you’re one of the lovely people who came out to one of our shows, or if you’re one of the just as lovely people who donated to our Kickstarter campaign – you made the tour possible for us. We are busy putting packages together for those of you who donated, so you can expect those in the mail soon. We are also busy writing some new tunes! We’ll leave you now with some of our favorite photos from the road…

In case you missed it…

Check out the photos and video from our recent studio session with WXPN’s “The Key.” We had a ton of fun recording in their snazzy studio!

Our Kickstarter campaign wasn’t even up for a week and we have already passed our goal! Thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone who donated. The money will go towards helping us fund our national tour. Oh yeah… did we mention we’re going on a national tour this summer?! We are very excited about it. Click on the “Show” link above to see where we’ll be playing and keep checking back for new dates. For those who donated to our Kickstarter, we can’t wait to start writing your songs, making your custom CD’s and sending you your gifts. For those who have thought about donating, we hope you will still consider. The tour isn’t entirely covered yet and all additional funds will go towards the trip and buying new merch to sell on the road (which we are in desperate need of). If you’re thinking about donating, or simply just want to check out the campaign and see what the tour is all about, visit our Kickstarter page here. More importantly, we hope to see you out at one of our shows ! Seriously folks, we’re going to give this guy a run for his money this summer. Perhaps we need to start working on a new summer anthem. Hmmmm…

Our Kickstarter…

For those of you who missed our album release show last weekend, here are a couple of videos of us playing! The second video is a new version of our song “Sea Change” that we put together specifically for the release show. The footage is a little dark, but you should be able to make out who’s who!

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our album release party at RUBA Hall! We had such a great time playing for you all and we’ll post pictures (and maybe even some video) soon. In the meantime, check out this awesome article that A.D. Amorosi wrote for Philadelphia City Paper about our new album!

“The Month’s Mind,” Available Today!

The day is here! Our new album, The Month’s Mind, is available on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play! We hope you will check it out – it’s our debut full-length album and we put a lot of hard work into it. Plus, the songs aren’t too shabby either (in our humble opinion). If you want to preview some of the tracks before purchasing it, you can check out the exclusive stream on WXPN’s “The Key” here. Also, be sure to check out our album release party on June 16 at Ruba Hall (414 Green St.) in Philly, where we’ll be playing the whole album – it’s free with donations at the door!

That Mag!

A great weekend was had by all… we played a really fun show with Switchfoot at the Piazza for Radio 104.5 and we also landed the cover story for That Mag! You can read the full story online here and check out the cover below. Also, we are very excited to announce that we found ourselves a new drummer and he is bad-ass. His name is Gooch and after first seeing him play over 2 years ago at Johnny Brenda’s, we finally snagged him as our drummer!

Summer Block Party at the Piazza ~ June 2

We are happy to announce that we’ll be partaking in Radio 104.5′s Summer Block Party concert series again this year! We’ll be playing June 2 with Switchfoot and Ballyhoo at the Piazza at Schmidt’s. Oh yeah, and did we mention it’s a FREE show? If you have a minute, check out the video recap of the Block Party show we played last year with Airborne Toxic Event and the Naked & Famous!
